Colour Issues Based-on Priority/Severity
Increasing colour gradients depending on the importance of an issue
Exactly as the title suggests. It may prove useful to highlight different issues depending on how severe the issue is - this would be especially useful for pointing-out the show-stoppers over the trivial issues. Certain dedicated project trackers such as Redmine (an open-source Ruby PT that looks lovely, but requires Ruby and thus is impractical to install in many hosting environments) boast this feature - I'd show you a demonstration, but Redmine do not have this feature enabled on their own tracker and the tracker I know using this feature is currently down.
I believe that this feature should be an alternative option to shading/highlighting based-on status (
seen here) which I think is also a fantastic idea, but some people may choose bug/issue prioritisation over issue status.... or there might be a way to show both at the same time somehow.
TL;DR: The higher the priority number, the more noticeable the issue, e.g. 1 = Red, 5 = White, 10 = Blue (This choice is scientifically logical, as the eye is least sensitive to blue.)
Thanks for reading my excessive amount of text.
